ArthroS

Arthroscopy Surgical Training Simulator

ArthroS

High-fidelity arthroscopy training for orthopaedic surgeons, registrars, and clinical education programs.

ArthroS™ Arthroscopy Surgical Simulator

The ArthroS™ arthroscopy surgical simulator delivers highly realistic, hands-on orthopaedic training designed to prepare surgeons for real operating room procedures.

The ArthroS combines anatomically accurate joint models, real surgical instruments, and advanced haptic feedback to closely replicate the look, feel, and workflow of live arthroscopic surgery. Trainees can practise diagnostic and operative techniques in a safe, controlled environment that mirrors clinical conditions.

ArthroS supports competency-based arthroscopy training across a wide range of procedures, enabling hospitals, universities, and surgical colleges to standardise skills development, objectively assess performance, and accelerate progression from simulation to clinical practice.

By reducing learning curves and improving procedural confidence, ArthroS helps training programs enhance surgical proficiency while supporting better patient outcomes and safer care delivery.

Modules Library

The ArthroS™ platform includes a comprehensive range of shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle modules, covering diagnostic workflows, procedural techniques, and joint-specific pathologies. Each module is designed to align with competency-based training frameworks and realistic clinical progression.

New modules and cases are continually developed and existing content is regularly updated, ensuring training programs remain current with evolving arthroscopic techniques, instrumentation, and educational standards. This modular approach enables hospitals, universities, and surgical colleges to tailor curricula to trainee level and learning objectives.

ArthroS™ Modules

ArthroS™ Shoulder

ArthroS™ Shoulder provides realistic arthroscopic training using an anatomically detailed shoulder model with soft tissue simulation. Trainees practise landmark identification and movements such as abduction, adduction, flexion, traction, and rotation.

The module supports navigation of the 15-point shoulder examination and therapeutic procedures across a wide range of shoulder pathologies, including SLAP and Bankart lesions, PASTA tears, synovial inflammation, impingement, and loose bodies.

ArthroS™ Knee

ArthroS™ Knee delivers high-fidelity knee arthroscopy training focused on diagnostic evaluation and procedural workflows. Trainees practise triangulation, scope handling, and systematic joint inspection.

The module supports a variety of knee pathologies and procedures, including meniscal assessment, cartilage evaluation, and loose body removal, reinforcing core arthroscopic skills transferable to the operating room.

ArthroS™ Hip

ArthroS™ Hip enables advanced hip arthroscopy training with accurate joint anatomy and realistic portal establishment. Trainees learn safe access techniques and navigation of the central and peripheral compartments using multiple viewing angles.

The module supports diagnostic arthroscopy and therapeutic procedures such as cam decompression, loose body removal, and labral assessment, helping users build confidence in one of the most technically demanding arthroscopic joints.

ArthroS™ Ankle

ArthroS™ Ankle prepares trainees for the unique challenges of ankle arthroscopy, including limited joint space and restricted visual landmarks. Users develop precise instrument control and spatial awareness.

Training scenarios include diagnostic arthroscopy, navigation of anterior and posterior compartments, and management of common ankle conditions, supporting safer and more confident clinical performance.
