GynoS is a high-fidelity gynaecological ultrasound training simulator designed to support structured, competency-based education in transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasound. Developed by VirtaMed and distributed by Phantasim, GynoS enables trainees to develop essential ultrasound scanning skills in a safe, controlled simulation environment.

The simulator combines anatomically accurate female pelvic models with realistic ultrasound image generation to replicate real-world gynaecological scanning conditions. Trainees practise probe handling, image optimisation, anatomical orientation, and systematic examination techniques while receiving objective, performance-based feedback.

With a comprehensive library of normal and pathological cases, GynoS supports training programs in standardising ultrasound education, improving diagnostic confidence, and accelerating skill acquisition without reliance on patients or live clinical exposure.
